Barcelona is the capital city of the autonomous community of Catalonia in Spain, and the second largest city in the country
Barcelona, I went in May 2011 with my cousin's girlfriend (Audrey), we met my cousin's brother who was over there at this time and he know very well the city. We took our flight in late afternoon, and we tried to find our way to the city and our hotel and I don't know why but I spoke in english instead of spanish, I think its easier for me to speak in english... well it was such a nice room we got with a kitchen, but we didn't have any food so we went to a restaurant and again so difficult to speak in spanish, maybe because they spoke in catalan its a little different from spanish !!!! My first impression of Barcelona, well no so glaring maybe because it was at nightime. After a good night, we woke up then we walked aroud the neigborhood and visited the famous Stadium of Barcelona, I'm not a huge fan of spanish football but well always nice to see a great team. It was really a nice area, we did some shopping and sun was present, so great. The contest with Audrey was the first most tanned.
Then, we met my cousin to the Sagrada Familia (a large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona, Spain, designed by Catalan architect Antoni GaudÃ), so beautiful and so massive, I really like it. We took the elevator, and went to the top of the church, my god the view was wonderful. It was so amazing to see the architecture and how they made it, because Gaudi had a special art design, its very particular.
After this amazing visit, we walked around the different area in Barcelona, especially the Gothic quarter, so beautiful, the centre of the old city of Barcelona, many of the buildings date from medieval times, some from as far back as the Roman settlement of Barcelona.
Next we watched the Final champions league, the football club of Barcelona against Manchester United and FC Barcelone won, it was so crazy outside that we had to go there to celebrate, so awesome to be part of this and we finished the night into a club hotel close to the sea, and walked at night nearby the sea, its quite creepy when you drunk. Direction to the hotel by taxi...
The next day, we spent to the beach. We ate to a restaurant who made some speciality, so good !!!! We ate so much and drink so much, yeah Food + Alcohol + Sun + Heat not so good that we went to the beach and slept :p.
Then we went to a mall close to the beach, yeah I'm so a huge fan of MANGO and ZARA, it was like heaven.
For the last day, yeah I know we didn't stay longer just 3 days, well we went to one of the famous spot in Barcelona, Park Guell... My god it was so wonderful, it really represents the Gaudi 's art, it was so amazing to walk around and until the top, so F*.... awesome, so massive and pretty impressive...we got our flight late the afternoon, so we had to hurry ...
Well well well, my trip to Barcelona was short, brief, but it was impressive to know a new cultural, because it quite an old city who keep their architecture which is nice. Oh yeah, I went to the hairdresser, it was such a pleasure for him to cut and blow drying my hair, yeah it took so long and my friend told me that his face was so happy, yeah he liked my curly hair... what's else, oh yeah someone tried to rob my purse in the subway and what I didn't like its the people over there look from head to foot, I really dislike it, I hate when people stare at you for no reason, they felt we were stranger ... I don't know but I hate this... So just to say, that Barcelone its really a nice city but just for few days, vacation, party but people are pretty rude and impolite. I really enjoyed this trip with Audrey, such a great time with her, so much fun ....
