The 1975 are an English, Manchester-based[1] alternative rock/indie rock band from Wilmslow in Cheshire. The group consists of Matthew Healy (vocalsguitar), Adam Hann (guitar), George Daniel (drums), and Ross MacDonald (bass).

On my phone, I get an apps who told me according to my music, different band I might listen, this is how I found The 1975. I really love this band, the sound its very particular from the other, it reminds me the sound from 90s. So I get the album, its pretty good, so swinging. The melody are so catchy, and the lyrics are pretty easy to remember.

I'm really so grateful to the app, because this band is so good to hear, nice discover.

Sex EP was described by Paste as "equal parts ethereal and synth pop", with "haunting" and "smooth" vocals. Their "mellow", stripped down style was praised for its lack of "attention-grabbing production theatrics".

Though generally acknowledged as an alternative rock group, they have been influenced by diverse genres including electro-popelectronic musicguitar pop, and R&B.

Their "melancholic" black and white visual aesthetic is juxtaposed with major keys and what the band calls "classic pop sensibilities".

Lyrically, The 1975 explore themes of discovery and novelty in the more specific context of sex, love, drugs, hope, death, and fear, thus the basis of rock music.

Their first album " The 1975", had so much success in UK, in France, they are not really popular, when I talk with some friends, nobody knows the band. It is ashamed, come on, this guys are so Awesome, on acoustic version, so good to listen. The singer had such a voice so particular, that you can't get tired of it, you adore his voice.

I don't know why but when you heard "Chocolate" "The City", the only things you want to do is dancing as crazy.

Its so bewitching that I can't get tired of it. "Sex", "Robbers", MARVELLOUS...

Few days before the gig (on february, 24th, 2014), I participated to a competition in order to win tickets for The 1975's gig. I think thanks to my website, the page I made on them, I won, can you believe it, so lucky, I was so excited...

So the gig was so awesome, it was on a small venue in Paris Le Trabendo, they deserved so much better but well I kind like this venue, its really intimate :).

The guitar's sounds, my god it killed me, even the singer, Matthew Heay played it and he had such a voice very particular, I love it.

The decor was simple but very nice, it reflect perfectly their concept and their album's cover.

Unfortunately, I wasn't close to the stage, so much girls, yelling, but I wasn't so far either, I had a nice view and I took so much photos and videos, you can look below.

When the band sang the song " Chocolate " it was funny how the crowd knew the song, even the singer complimented us and I loved when they spoke in french, such lovely accent. They sang some olds song that I never heard, pretty interesting. For fan girl in front of the stage  you can see that a community starts to become larger and the venue also, its quite encouraging for them even if in England they played in front of thousand people and in other country around 600 people.

It was my first time seeing The 1975 in a gig, they are pretty good, I love when a band are really into the live and play so much instrument whatever the crowd or the venue.

This band are everything, the singer sang, played guitar and communicate with the crowd.

They rocked it .... for sure and I hope, they 'll come back in Paris soon... I'll try to go to some festivals in summer to see them, so much fun... I really love the sound of this band...
