Griefjoy . This name represents to them the best definition to collect two emotions that can not a priori be felt at the same time , except to listen to their music and forty minutes of their first album: pain and joy. Disc where one crosses the light and dark as well, an intense and exhilarating electro rock , smoke circles and angles. Visiting Griefjoy , or the effect of the burn ice.
Very young , they meet and start their musical initiation until four see the light in the rock . A devastating earthquake that will sweep everything in its path , guide them to find their perfect alchemy group and do let go again. This shock rock seal their union with four and is four they begin their quest for the perfect melody.
2013. Fed with various of its members ( rock , jazz, pop , electro, hip- hop , BO ... ) influences Griefjoy delivers a stunning debut album with ten songs. Although the first slap that was knocked away the classic " Street Spirit " by Radiohead , no group copy Thom Yorke is to be found here .

The first time I heard Griefjoy was to a music contest on TV channel. In fact, I was invited by another french band called " Elephanz ", and I saw 10 french band, one of them was Griefjoy, at the end of their performance, I was speechless, they were so awesome, the sound, the instrument, their presence on stage, loved it... That's why, they won the contest, so good !!! So when I came back to home, I listened to their album and I F*... love it...
This mixed between electro, rock and pop with such a smooth voice, such a perfect accordance. The melody, the beats are so catchy, so refreshing and so good to hear, the singer have such a sweet voice and they sing in english which is nice to hear.
Few days later after the contest, I heard there was a gig close to my house, 2 minutes and I was invited by a music magazine to go there so hell yeah I really enjoyed it. They got such a presence in stage, its pretty impressive, they played so much instrument that they juggles during the gig. They also got mini solo performance of guitar, piano so good to hear, I heard the band came out from a school music that's why they played so many instrument.
The electro song, it was the first time I heard it in a gig, and its really good, with his voice, the mixed its so perfect. The sounds is even better than the album., my brother listened to them from the album and he told me before the gig " I don't really like their song, its too electro for me" and I convinced him to come with me and now he really loved it, he told me that in live the sounds its very different and better.
I was pretty close to the stage, and I stared to them when they played guitar, so amazing at the speed they played it.

Thanks to Elephanz, the french band who invited me to the contest, I discovered Griefjoy and I really love the sounds that I'm listening to them every day, I can't wait for the next gig, I don't know when, but just to say that in live they rock it or electrocute it .... :)
Griefjoy, is really a good good french band, they deserve so much success, the new french touch ....
Griefjoy also did some covers who are pretty good, they are really changed the beats, and made it with their own style which is outstanding.
