Aubrey Drake Graham (born October 24, 1986), who records under the mononym Drake, is a Canadian recording artist, rapper, songwriter, and actor.
DRAKE, I discovered this handsome guy with "Headlines" in 2011, the beats, the flows attracted me a lot, so I really paid attention on him. Then, I listened to his different albums and I quite like it. Its hard for me to understand what a rapper sing usually but him, I can discern what he said. He can rap and have such a sensual voice, he mixed both, my god perfect combo... For example the songs " Find your love", "Take care".

The lyricism of Drake is often in regard to his riches, fame and past relationships. All music describes Drake's moods as searching, thoughtful, introspective, brooding, confident, dramatic, earnest, energetic, humorous, intense, laid-back/mellow, literate, melancholy, nostalgic, playful, reflective, smooth, tender, warm and yearning.
Drake's sound is labeled as "soft" for his genuine, merciful lyrics and soulful melody to most hip hop listeners. He denied this by saying "I'm not soft. I'm just not one of those people who's closed off emotionally."
A large portion of Drake's work incorporates elements of both rapping and singing, which has led to him being unique as a recording artist.
Recently, he has been making a notable shift away from Young Money/Cash Money collaborations and towards a new project, OVOXO. The OVO owl symbolizes OVOXO, which is a separate entity from Young Money/Cash Money and represents a collaboration group between Drake and R&B singer The Weeknd. (I love this guy too)
He released 4 albums, "So Far Gone" ,"Thank me Later", "Take Care" and "Nothing was the Same",
In 2012, I went to his gig in Bercy, sold out. He was so hot hot, he thanked the girls with his dance and voice....
At the entract, there was some Hip - Hop and R&B songs, it was fun how everybody sang and danced as in a club.
In live, he was F*... incredible. my god, he knows how to drag us along, when he sang "The Motto", all the crowd sang with him, its pretty impressive how they and I knew the lyrics :) "You Only Live Once".
I love his last album, "Started from the bottom" my god this song, its so true... "Hold on, we're going home", so bewitching. How can I not go to his gig again.
So excited.... on February 25th, he comes back in Paris, his first date was sold out, and I didn't get tickets and for his second date, Hell yeah !!!
This day has finally arrived my second gig of Drake, I can say, it was one of my best gig ever .... The stage was huge, there was 3 big circle at the top, down and another one above the crowd, I wondered what is it, and you got a big screen at the back, a lot a light on the roof, on the side, well, when you come to this venue, you'll know that they 're going to do someting crazy with all the technique stuff and you'll understand why his dates in Europe, they always had 2 or 3 days between.
To begin, on the first part it was The Weeknd, I love so much his song, you can take a look on his page I did.
Then Drake came, it was spectacular more than before, he sang with The Weeknd " Crew love ", this song killed me, since it was the first song I heard of The Weeknd. So when the song began, of course I sang as a crazy and danced too, it reminds me the time I used to listen to it everyday. All the video and photos are taken by me. :)
Then, he sang non stop, god so nice to hear him in live again. When he sang "Too much" a track from his last album, he gave us a different version, at the end he sang more smooth, oh my his voice so sweet and he sang in french saying " Je vous aime " (I Love you), so lovely to hear. The venue was transformed into a star sky with all the lights from the phone, so beautiful for this cute version.
Jhené Aiko, was one of the guest on this tour, she came to sing her song with Drake " From Time ", she had such a beautiful voice and she's so gorgeous and sexy that you can heard the men scream. She did a great performance, really like her voice and on the big screen there was video of fireworks, so wonderful with this song, you are really into it, the theme was perfect for this song.
Then, he sang " Hold on, we're going home ", the crowd sang along with him, so nice !!! God, his voice so sweet.... At the end of the song, he picked someone in front and she came on stage with him and he sang the same song in acoustic, classic version just for her, he danced , kiss her on the hand... it was quite sensual, so lucky ....
The first things you noticed when you came to the venue, it was the big platform in form of a circle at the top of the crowd. At the middle of the gig, the platform began to come down, just above us, Drake came to the platform and began to sing with his flows, saying "I saw you girls with my T shirt, I saw you man in a black shirt,..." for 15 minutes I think, it was quite long. Then, he asked which side was the loudest, when he said on the left, they screamed and vice and versa. It was impressive but too long, he didn't really sing, just rap about some person in the crowd.
On each Drake's moves, I was swinging around, so hot and so tight, the good things was that Drake was so close to us, so handsome.

After few songs, OMG, Rihanna, yeah folks you read it right , she came as a guest, the crowd became crazy when they saw her. She sang " Take Care " with Drake, and the crowd sang with her. It was so awesome, so excited !!!
They danced together pretty close, and they seemed to get along. Then she sang one of her song " Pour it up ". It was so amazing to see both together, singing, dancing, it was a nice surprise. I'll let you watch the video, you'll understand how the crowd felt by her presence.
Then, he continued to sing but you felt that it was almost the end. When he sang " All me ", my god I was waiting for this song, its one of my favourite on his last albums, after singing his part on the song, he sang Big Sean 's part in acapella, so nice that the crowd sang along with him. The last song was " Started from the bottom ", the crowd went crazy and sang.
This gig, my god so spectacular, the american shows, with the big screen, the smoke, the lights, the platform, the stage,... so F* awesome, so glad to be part of this. What I really like also, was at the middle of the gig, Drake went to the backstage, and his DJ played his olds song, of course Drake couldn't sing all of it so his DJ played it, really like it, the crowd sang along and DJ stop it and play it again in order to hear if the crowd knew the lyrics. It was really a good moment, a communion between the people.
Just to say that this shows, was one of my best gig for now, The Weeknd, Drake, Jhené Aiko and Rihanna, my god all this guys for one gig, is so F* awesome and insane, can you believe it....
It was my second gig of Drake, the last one was already amazing and this one was better so can you imagine how he really rocked it, and my 4 times on Hip Hop gig. I can tell the difference between all the gig.
For example, a rock's gig is crazy and you feel the love they got for the artist by singing, the sign, was they did on internet,... contrary to hip hop 's gig, its very different, you can feel the communion between the artist and the crowd, before the gig begin, always they put some song during the wait, and the crowd knew most of the song, danced, sang, its pretty impressive for a french or someone else, to rap in english... the climax and the people are quite different, I listen to both style, so I can see the difference.
For this 2 nights gig in Paris, was outstanding for everyone, Drake was amazing and I love him in live because he was fantastic, his voice is stunning, also his song, it can be so sweet, smooth more R&B and Hip Hop with his rapping. So I think Drake is going bigger for the next years to come.
