Abel Tesfaye (born February 16, 1990), known by his stage name The Weeknd, is a Canadian PBR&B recording artist and record producer. In late 2010, Tesfaye anonymously uploaded several songs to YouTube under the name "The Weeknd".
Oh my, this guy, the first song I heard, was on Drake's song "Crew Love", my god his voice so sensual, "Oh they lovin the crew".
So I started to look for his song "Wicked Games", "Rolling Stone", love it, "Bring your love baby I could bring my shame, Bring the drugs baby I could bring my pain" the beats and the sounds are so catchy... The lyrics are so deep.

The Weeknd's songs are "built around a fogged, crepuscular production", and feature slow tempos, rumbling bass, and forlorn echoes. His music incorporates samples that are unconventional in R&B production, including punk and alternative rock. .
His emotional, plaintive lyrics often express feelings of hurt and deal with subject matter such as sex, drugs, and partying.
The Weeknd viewed that, by singing vulgar, ignorant lyrics in an elegant, sexy way, he is paying homage to R. Kelly and to some degree Prince.
Music journalists associate the Weeknd with PBR&B, an emerging wave of recording artists whose music expands on the sound and sensibility of R&B.
His last album, "Kiss Land", my god, he killed me... so Good, the songs are so bewitching... "Professional", " The Town", "Belong to the world","Wanderlust", all the songs... I love it...So sensual... On each song, he suffered a lot from relationship. Love songs, he seemed so persecute, torture. The only things, you want to do its to hug him, come on baby. He's so brillant.
For the Drake " Would you like a tour ? " in Europe , The Weeknd was on his firts part, OH GOD, I was so excited, as you know I'm so a huge fan of him and also Drake, so to see 2 artist I love on one night, what can I say. I was obliged to get my tickets and hell yeah, I got mine on the second date sold out shows, I was standing in front of the stage, not so far, at the middle of the crowd.
On February, 25th, 2014, The Weeknd rocked the first part... My god his voice is so bewitching, so good to hear. He sang some olds song and new song of his last album. I loved it, some guitar's sound and acoustic version. He knew how to entertain the girls with his move, it was quite sensual, I think, it was his voice who made it.
What I really like with The Weeknd, its this mixed between all kind of style, R&B, Hip Hop, Rock,... you could noticed it with his band, Guitar, Drums, Keyboard. I really love to see him in live, so good, his voice same as on his album. Besides, he talked few words in french so sexy accent. Then, He came back to sing " Crew love " with Drake, so good, so awesome, I love so much this song, they killed me......
