Muse are an English rock band from Teignmouth, Devon, formed in 1994.

I discovered Muse, when they released "Plug in Baby" (2002) on their 2nd album, the guitar's sound is splendid. I'm such a huge fan of guitar's sound, and Muse do it perfectly. They released 6 albums since 1998.

I found something on Wikipedia, who describe perfectly their special sound.

Muse are known for their energetic and extravagant live performances  and their fusion of many music genres, including space rockprogressive rockalternative rocksymphonic rock and electronica

Most earlier Muse songs lyrically dealt with introspective themes, including relationships, social alienation, and difficulties they had encountered while trying to establish themselves in their hometown. However, with the band's progress, their song concepts have become more ambitious, addressing issues such as the fear of the evolution of technology in their Origin of Symmetry (2001) album. They deal mainly with the apocalypse in Absolution (2003) and with catastrophic war in Black Holes and Revelations (2006).

The Resistance (2009) was a concept album based around the plot and themes of Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell.

Their latest album, The 2nd Law (2012) relates to economics, thermodynamics, and apocalyptic themes.

In 2010, Muse had 2 date in Paris, Stade de France (80 000 people), both sold out... Its pretty amazing how they are successful in France. I went to the gig, on the second date with my sister and cousin, we were so far but we got such a nice view from Paris and the stadium.

It was such a wonderful shows, the lights, the balloon, the decor, the musics, my god, "Starlight", when the crowd sang "Our hopes and expectations, black holes and revelations" again and again, so lovely... and what about "Time is running out"... I remember, a space ships, yeah folks, the singer, Matthew Bellamy took it and went at the middle with his suit of lights... so insane....

Muse had 2 date in 2013 at the same venue, the Second Law Tour, I don't like the last album I doesn't recognize the usual sound of the band. I was really disappointed, my friends got me a tickets, but I didn't go to the gig, I already saw them, so it is better to give the ticket to someone who really like. My friend told me after the gig, most of the song was the previous albums. Never mind...

I heard, they  are working on their 7th album, I hope it will be good.
