Meeting Areva, previously known as Meeting Gaz de France, is an annual track and field event at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, France. Previously one of the IAAF Golden League events, it is now part of the IAAF Diamond League. It was first organized in 1999.
For 2 years, I worked to this event as a volunteers. In 2012, was the first year , I was the only young people, it was weird but well I don't mind, it was nice people... So my job consisted to position the communication media in all the stadium before the spectators come. It was exhausted but well, when I fisnished, they got me 3 tickets to enjoy the event. I remembered that day, so much rain all the day and just before the event begins so around 5 p.m, the sun came. so lucky.....
In 2013, I was transferred to the control volunteers, so I have to check every volounteers and give them their task. It was nice, but I have to work all day, I got tickets too, I gave it to my friends but I didn't really enjoy the event with them,sadly, just at the end, I succeed to sneak to my friends for 1 hour.
This time, it was funniest than in 2012 because I was really in charge of volunteers, so when the event finish, we had a party in the stadium with champagne and everything... I was the youngest but never mind... Great experience.
